Meet Adam Ganz

Candidate for District Court Judge

Adam Ganz is a lifelong Las Vegas resident, husband, father, and public servant who has dedicated his life to justice, fairness, and community. He’s running for District Court Judge to bring over two decades of legal experience, deep local roots, and a commitment to serving people—not politics.

A Life Built in Las Vegas

Born and raised in Las Vegas, Adam attended R. Guild Gray Elementary, Cashman Middle School, and graduated from Bonanza High School in 1989. The son of hardworking parents, Adam learned early the values of determination, service, and community engagement. He became the first in his family to graduate from college and went on to earn his Juris Doctor from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1998.

Adam returned home, passed the Nevada Bar, and married his wife, Prudence. Together, they’ve raised two teenagers in the Las Vegas community—a city that has always been the center of Adam’s life and motivation for public service.

A Legal Career Focused on Justice

For over 20 years, Adam has built a successful legal career rooted in civil litigation and social justice. He’s represented thousands of clients—from injured workers and foster children to families taking on powerful institutions. With over 50 jury trials under his belt, Adam has practiced in both state and federal courts in Nevada and Arizona and has argued before the Nevada Supreme Court and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

His career has been defined by high-impact work, including:

  • Representing children harmed while in foster care

  • Holding public institutions accountable for violence and negligence

  • Challenging defective products and dangerous practices that hurt families

Adam was also one of the first volunteer attorneys for the Children’s Attorneys Project and has remained a fierce advocate for children’s rights.

Service on the Bench

In 2023, Adam was appointed as one of just two ADR and Discovery Commissioners in the state by the Eighth Judicial District Court. In this role, he manages complex discovery disputes and leads alternative dispute resolution processes, applying his litigation background and LL.M. in Dispute Resolution from Pepperdine University. He also serves as a mediator, short trial judge, and arbitrator—and has shared his knowledge as an adjunct professor at UNLV.

Community Leadership

Adam’s dedication to service extends beyond the courtroom. He has served as:

  • President and board member of Summerlin South Little League

  • Coach for youth sports

  • Volunteer and board leader for local nonprofits

He’s also mentored young attorneys, managed a small business, and supported working families across the valley.

Why Adam Is Running

Adam Ganz is not a career politician—he is a trial lawyer, coach, father, and public servant who believes deeply in access to justice. He’s running for District Court Judge because he knows that behind every case is a real person, a real family, and a real future.

He’s ready to bring his experience, fairness, and work ethic to the bench to ensure that every litigant—regardless of background—receives impartial, respectful, and fair treatment under the law.

"I’m running not for power or prestige, but because I believe our courts deserve judges who listen, who care, and who never forget the human side of justice."
